PEI Writers’ Guild Wins PEI Arts Award

The PEI Writers’ Guild, along with PEERS Alliance, was thrilled win a PEI Arts Award for The Premier’s Award for Stand-out Project of the Year, an award that celebrates an innovative artistic or cultural project in the areas of reconciliation, climate change, accessibility, or digital innovation by an Island artist, arts professional, group, collective or organization.

The Stand-out Project of the Year is Are We Friends Now?, an anthology written by queer PEI youth. This project was a joint effort between the PEI Writers’ Guild and PEERS Alliance, and was an absolute joy from start to finish.
