Welcome to the Island Literary Awards home page!

The Island Literary Awards 2020 was truly a season like no other! In the full throes of a global pandemic, the ILA Committee had to make the decision to reach out of our comfort zone and produce on online version of the both the literary awards, and the PEI Book Awards - given out every two years for deserving publications, and with the support of the Dept of Education & Lifelong Learning. Thanks again to all our finalists, semi-finalists and guests who made 2020 an extra special year! To check out all of our full list of winning readers, please visit the Island Literary Awards 2020 playlist - on the PEI Writers' Guild YouTube channel.
